Yolanda began her life of service to God and community at an early age.
Through educational, professional and creative experience that relationship
continues. She holds a MA in both public policy and music therapy and is a
certified yoga instructor. As a pastor, music psychotherapist, meditation and yoga
instructor, she works with individuals to explore the spiritual as well as the
psychological dimension of experience. She is concerned with dismantling the
stigma of therapy. Her goal is to reimagine and redefine the therapeutic
relationship as “soul work” where the therapist and patient work beyond the
surface and arrive at a level of depth and beauty to promote unity consciousness
and healing. She continues to explore the mind-body connection in her work and
is a student of the Transcendental Meditation technique ® (TM). As a meditation and yoga
instructor, she assists students to connect with their inner source of unlimited joy,
wisdom and power. Yolanda believes that well being is natural and that every
individual is supposed to thrive. She further believes that using an integrative
approach to health and healing can bring us back into alignment with Source.

For more than 16 years, Yolanda has been both student and teacher of A Course
In Miracles and has experienced personal transformation as well as witnessed it
in the lives of those who listen to her dynamic sermons and participate in her
Course-related classes. As a gifted singer, songwriter and producer, she is
recording a solo project as well as plans to release a meditation CD. Answering
the call to ministry is an extension of her personal desire to assist others in
recognizing the magnificence of God within them.
